Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC)

60 Hrs / 30 Classes

An inpatient coder professional should have specific coding expertise and experience. These include the international ICD-9 and the ICD-10 codes classifications. An inpatient coder reviews the patient medical notes and documentation provided by attending physicians and determines the most appropriate corresponding code.


Course Description

CIC Certification is provided to candidates after attending 69 hours of training and clearing the various test conducted in the training program. CMC is a job oriented training program covering all topics in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology and ICD-10 CM, Basics of CPT-4 and HCPCS Coding.

Course Learning Objectives

  • Course Duration: 80 Hours (2 Hours per day – 45 classes).

  • Batches: Weekdays and Weekend Batch.

  • Weekdays: Monday to Friday 2 hours from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM or 6.30 PM to 6.30 PM.

  • Weekend:Saturday and Sunday 3 hours from 10.30 AM to 01.30 PM.
